Visitor in Transit — Get a Visa for a 48-Hour Transit the UK

A person may enter the United Kingdom as a Visitor in Transit to another country.

Requirements

• The applicant is in transit to a country outside the common travel area; and
  
  
• Has both the means and the intention of proceeding at once to another country; and
  
  
• Is assured of entry there; and
  
  
• Intends and is able to leave the United Kingdom within 48 hours.

If successful the applicant will be granted Entry Clearance for a period not exceeding 48 hours.
